The focus of the 11th Annual Meeting of the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa (ICA), which took place in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, on 16 & 17 November 2015, was "Implementing Renewable Energy Initiatives in Africa". The meeting was hosted jointly with the African Development Bank and the Government of Germany. This paper was commissioned by the ICA and the Government of Germany to draw together background material, guide & stimulate discussion and provide a focus for future learning.
